Potential spoilers Godzilla vs Kong early script leak
Believe me or not but I have read an early draft of the Godzilla vs Kong script and I am glad that it was sent back in for edits personally. A source who has provided me info before has stressed that this is not the final script. - First big thing is Kong never fights the KOTM Godzilla. It is stressed early on that Godzilla has become a super titan. Instead it is revealed that the Godzilla for G14 is a separate and weaker Godzilla. Kong ultimately comes out the winner after three rounds. I was told by a source that this is done so Kong could get the win but also to let the Godzilla fans know that the “King” Godzilla would put Kong down. They’ll likely team up if the monsterverse continues. - Creating two Godzilla’s was not only a way for Kong to win but also so Legendary could kill Godzilla off. Toho apparently only allowed Godzilla to die because Kong is doing the killing and because there is a far stronger Godzilla still alive. This maybe why Godzilla was made bigger in 2019. - The leaks about MechaGodzilla and World Destroyer are true to an extent. MechaGodzilla only appears as blueprints in a planning phase. The government wants to build him as they belive that any Titan sees MechaGodzilla they will turn around and not attack cities thinking that it’s their King. World Destroyer is described here as a Human titan and is the villain of the film. The Human Titan is described as being a abomination created from Ghidorah’s head, the de-oxygenator and finally Jonah himself who severs as the instinct of the Titan. The Human Titan kills a couple of Titans but not all of them. Only Rodan and 4 other titans survive. - After the HT takes stage, Rodan KOTM Godzilla to do battle with the HT and this becomes the secondary plot. - Kong is described as going up to G14’s neck and being nearly 100 meters tall. Two rouge Titans at the start invade Skull Island and attack Kong trying to offer up Skull Island to KOTM Godzilla. Kong defeats them, but the battle draws the attention of G14. G14 and Kong or evenly matched, but Kong can move faster. G14 wins the fight when Kong is burned by the atomic breath. G14 leaves but Kong follows him. - The Second battle is in Hong Kong, here Kong rips a spine off G14 and throws him by his tail. This battle seems to favor Kong but KOTM Godzilla shows up having lost to the HT. Before this battle also the creation of the HT actually makes G14 briefly attack Hong Kong(this is important later). - The Human Titan is so dangerous as it was determined that the De-oxygenator is the one weapon that could kill Godzilla. Godzilla’s ability to withstand nukes is described as his skin being like armor but even more impressive, radiation makes him strong and his healing factor heals him faster than the nuke can hurt him. Nukes can break the armor but Godzilla absorbing energy and his healing makes a nuke look like it has no effect. The De-oxygenator however bypasses the armor and shuts down his healing factor and his ability to absorb nuclear energy properly. The Human Titan has an improved version of this in the form of bacteria that can get into Godzilla’s blood and weaken him enough to kill. - The Two Godzilla’s and Kong fight the HT and it mimics Godzilla’s tail and Kong’s arms and even forms a decaying Ghidorah head but is defeated by Kong leading it to a volcanic fissure at Mt fuji and then the two Godzilla’s burn it. Here KOTM Godzilla leaves, but G14 and Kong continue their fight. - G14 is affected by the HT’s bacteria so he is unable to heal, and his breath weakens to the point that while it burns Kong it doesn’t put him down like on Skull Island. Kong tires to snap G14’s neck and break his jaw but Godzilla’s equal strength makes this impossible. Eventually when G14 lines the Killing blow, Kong hits him with an uppercut into an unground volcanic fissure. With his healing gone, G14 gives out one last roar before sinking under the magma and Kong heads home. - Due to the damage to Hong Kong and knowing that the Kotm Godzilla is bigger, stronger and has 5 titans loyal to him, project MechaGodzilla is finally funded. It is stated that it will take years and cooperation from around the world but the world needs an enforcer should Godzilla turn against them like G14 did. - What I believe is the last shot of the film is KOTM Godzilla, Rodan and the other 4 remaining titans arriving on Skull Island where Kong understanding that all the titans need each other. - The last thing written is that a giant egg is discovered on an island in the South Pacific. I assume this is a set up to bring Mothra back later.
